Privacy policy.
Plain English, and short, because there is not much to say.
This policy covers the Aero Duct Hygiene website, our online booking, and the chat available on the site.
What we collect
When you contact us or book an appointment we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, service address and anything you write in a message. Booking is handled by Housecall Pro, and information you enter into the scheduler is processed under their privacy policy as well as this one. Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to us by Web3Forms, which passes them to our inbox and does not retain them.
How we use it
To reply to you, schedule and carry out work, and keep records of jobs we have done. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers we need to run the business, such as our scheduling and payment systems.
Inspection photos
We take camera photos inside your ductwork as part of the service and provide them to you. We may keep copies for our own records. We will not publish photos from your home publicly without asking you first.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and buttons people use, so we can tell what is working on this site and what is not. It records pages viewed, rough location, device type, and actions such as opening the booking window or tapping the phone number. IP addresses are anonymized, and advertising and personalization features are switched off — we do not run ads and your data is not used to build an advertising profile. We look at it in aggregate; it does not tell us who you are.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell one visit from another. Beyond that this site sets no advertising cookies, and the Housecall Pro booking widget may set cookies necessary for scheduling to work. You can block all of these with your browser settings or an extension — the site is built to work normally without any of them.
Your choices
You can opt out of analytics entirely with Google’s browser add-on, your browser’s tracking protection, or any content blocker. You can also ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it, except where we need to keep records for tax or legal reasons.
